[discuss] Rally on Net Neutrality and in support of CAIP...

Hey folks.

There will be a rally on Parliament Hill on May 15 in support of the
CAIP submission to the CRTC, as well as the Net Neutrality issue.
(Note: The date changed, so this is the same rally that was being
discussed for April 29)

Note: Ignore the references to the April 29 date in the following forum
where much of the organizing is happening.

Please circulate around other groups so that anyone who might be able
to make it to Parliament Hill on the 15'th will know. We need to ensure
that politicians know they need to look at this issue more closely.

And a key part of this issue is separating the issues in the CRTC
submission from the larger Net Neutrality question:

“One major thing to consider is much of this battle has been confused by
the word ‘Internet’,” said Rocky Gaudrault, co-owner of Teksavvy.

“Bell isn’t selling ISPs internet, they’re selling ISPs a regulated
back-end connection.”
